H2Oasis is now offering classes on how to make, use and create Aragocrete Rocks.
We can set you up with an all inclusive package that includes all the supplies, the mix, and the tools needed to mix and create your designs.
Or
You can provide all your own supplies from our list and well just bring the mix and knowledge base.
Great for Aquarium Clubs, Pet Stores and even youth groups. We even have special deals for those wanting to create their own fishing reef's.
Classes last approximately 2 hours from show up till finish time.
You will need to provide a suitable location for your amount of people to have a work area for making the rocks.(yard area, table or what not-MUST ALSO HAVE ACCESS TO WATER SOURCE)
You will need to have at least 5 people participating to schedule a class time and schedule a class. All payments must be paid in full
before class is scheduled.(contact us for final details)
WE SUPPLY ARAGOCRETE MIX FOR ALL CLASSES. (enough mix for 2 or 3 small rocks or one large)
Participants keep all rocks they create. Must be able to leave rocks at location for initial 48hour cure time undisturbed.
Class covers details of About Aragocrete, How To Mix, How To Cure, and How To Design.(we show how to make basic arch and basic cave in class)
Supplies List -
We provide or you provide.
Mixing Bucket/Box (plastic type-preferrable square design and not more than 8" deep)
Mixing Utensil - Hand Hoe, Old Spatula, Hand Rake(hard type), Mixing Sticks, Mixing Paddle(hand rake works best)
Latex Gloves/Nitrile Gloves(do not use generic thin latex gloves as they will not hold up. Heavy duty or nitrile gloves only) If your
positive you arent affected or allergic to cement bare hands are ok, but not reccommended.
Water- Approximately 3 cups for each participant for the rocks, and then access to clean tools with afterwards.
Mold Material- Crushed shell or Clean Sand. (Enough to create the molds necessary for the rock creation. Generally half a bag of playsand per participant)
Pricing-(larger group discounts available for 20+ participants)
All inclusive class project = $25.00 per person.
Participant Supplied project = $10.00 per person.
Cement used during classes is basic grey, if you would like to use white its $5 additional per participant for either of the class types,
all inclusive or participant supplied types.
